Las Vegas – While spending 11 days in Las Vegas would be a perfect vacation for many people, it was all business for former Husker basketball standout Terran Petteway.
The rookie wing spent the last two weeks with the Atlanta Hawks Summer League team, more than holding his own against some of the top young prospects in pro basketball in hopes of earning a spot to an NBA Training Camp this fall.
Petteway played in all seven games for the Hawks, including six starts, and averaged 10.9 points, 4.6 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game. He finished third on the Hawks in scoring, second in assists, first in 3-pointers (11) and fifth in rebounding.
