Portsmouth, Va. – James Palmer Jr. closed his run at the Portsmouth Invitational on a winning note Saturday evening, as his Norfork Sports Club team posted a 92-87 victory in the third-place game.
Palmer finished in double figures for the third straight game, finishing with 11 points and team highs in assists (six) and steals (three), along with four rebounds.
For the three games in the invitational, the 6-foot-7 wing averaged 18.3 points, 3.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 2.0 steals per game, as his team put together a 2-1 record.
