And it's common sense to say Palmer is turning into a star when Nebraska needs him most.
The junior is averaging 25.2 points per game over the Huskers' past six games, of which Nebraska has won five. For all the buzz, and deservedly so, that junior guard Glynn Watson and junior forward Isaac Copeland received before the season began, it was Palmer, the transfer from Miami, who was the biggest mystery of the three.
