The talented running back from Booker T. Washington High in Tulsa, Oklahoma backed off his verbal pledge on Wednesday evening, announcing via Twitter that he would be looking elsewhere for a college destination.
"After talking with (running backs coach Ryan) Held and (offensive coordinator Troy) Walters I will be de-committing from Nebraska and re-opening my recruitment," Grayson wrote. "I appreciate all the love and support from Husker Nation."
The Huskers' backfield class filled up quickly after Grayson originally gave his verbal pledge April 9, less than two weeks after NU originally offered and immediately following an unofficial visit this spring.
