It seems the only thing to slow down Chris Dean’s progress on the tennis court this fall was a car accident.
The freshman and former Papillion-La Vista South state champion firmly established himself toward the top of the Nebraska men’s line-up during challenge matches last fall. He was part of the Husker contingent that competed in the ITA All-American, ITA Central Region and the Big Ten Individual Championships in October and November.
His spring season, however, is getting off to a slow start. Dean was injured in a car accident in Papillion right before Christmas, leaving him with a concussion, a neck injury and a bruised spine.
