The Huskers started traditional-style matches against Maryville. In that match, Kayla Verstraete bowled eight consecutive strikes to help the Huskers take their first win of the day (1,087-973). In match two, Nebraska fell to McKendree (962-1,002), but bounced back in their third match against Central Missouri to take their second win by a score of 1,060-881. The Huskers faced off against Wisconsin Whitewater in match four where they bowled all strikes in frame two and claimed another win (1,019-906).
