College volleyball fans in Nebraska will find out soon if they’ll have another chance to take in an NCAA Final Four in Omaha.
The NCAA will announce the host sites for several championships Tuesday. CenturyLink Center Omaha has submitted bids to host the Final Four for volleyball, the Frozen Four for men’s ice hockey and the NCAA championships for wrestling.
Metropolitan Entertainment & Convention Authority, which operates the CenturyLink Center, leads the bid effort. Each bid must also include a host college. The Nebraska athletic department has been part of hosting events there in the past, and is part of the bid again.
