Rochester, N.Y. - The Nebraska bowling team ended the first day of the regional tournament with a 1-1 record as the Huskers lost in the first round against Fairleigh Dickinson but came back to defeat Sacred Heart in the second match of the day.
The Huskers started the day with their first mega-match against Wilmington, falling 2-0. In the traditional-style match, Gwen Maeha led the team with eight-consecutive strikes and a score of 255. Crystal Elliott (181), Kayla Verstraete (167), Michelle Guarro (158) and Cassidy Ray (135) followed behind.
