Lubbock, Texas --The Nebraska women's tennis team kicked off play at the 15K Texas Tech ITF going 1-1.
Sophomore Kristina Novak defeated Virginia Tech's Semra Aksu 6-2, 6-7 (8), 10-4, marking her second singles win of the fall season. Freshman Jillian Roa also competed today, but fell short to No. 110 Baylor's Alicia Linana 6-2, 6-4.
Sophomores Isabel Adrover Gallego and Vivien Sandberg will start play tomorrow and results will be posted here.
