Nebraska prides itself on being on the cutting edge in college athletics.
An example: The university and Opendorse announced Tuesday the launch of the first-ever program designed to help student-athletes build their individual brands. The program, according to a news release, will provide all 650-plus Nebraska student-athletes social media solutions with proven effectiveness at the highest levels of professional sports.
“Nebraska has always been a leader in college athletics,” athletic director Bill Moos said in the release. “With that spirit in mind we are excited to partner with Opendorse. This agreement will provide all of our student-athletes the education and assessment tools they need to navigate the complexities of social media and maximize their brand in the digital world.
