Natalie Romeo says she’ll make a recruiting visit to the University of Washington on Thursday as she continues the process of possibly transferring from the Nebraska women’s basketball program.
Washington had a 26-11 record last season and reached the NCAA Final Four for the first time.
Romeo got permission to begin the process of considering a transfer after Connie Yori resigned as Nebraska coach two weeks ago.
While signs point to Romeo leaving, she told the Journal Star on Tuesday afternoon that “there is a chance still” that she would remain with the Huskers.
If she returns, Romeo would be one of the best players on the team entering her junior season.
