Lincoln North Star incoming freshman Bekka Allick hasn’t played a high school volleyball match, but she already knows where she wants to play in college.
Allick, a 6-foot-3 middle blocker/outside hitter, announced on Tuesday night she was committing to Nebraska, ending a recruiting process early that likely would’ve attracted all of the national powerhouse programs.
Bekka Allick becomes the sixth current Nebraska high school player to commit to the Huskers, joining Super-State junior middle Kalynn Meyer of Superior, Super-State sophomore outside hitter Lindsay Krause of Omaha Skutt, Elkhorn South sophomore middle Rylee Gray and a pair of walk-ons – two-time Super-State senior Fallon Stutheit of Johnson-Brock and Lincoln Pius X senior libero Emma Gabel.
