The Nebraska baseball team signed 10 high school players to letters of intent for the 2017-18 school year.
The group includes walk-on Jamie Young of Norris, Andrew Abrahamowicz of Lorain, Ohio; and Max Schreiber of Highland, Ohio. Young is listed by Perfect Game as the best left-handed pitcher in Nebraska.
Abrahamowicz is ranked the fifth-best right-hander in Ohio, and Schreiber, not related to Husker slugger Scott Schreiber, is the 15th-best right-hander in Ohio. Abrahamowicz was also recruited by Cincinnati and Louisville.
The other signees are: outfielder Michael Addante of Algonquin, Illinois; infielder Jaxon Hallmark of Midland, Texas; catcher Gunner Hellstrom of Thousand Oaks, California; catcher/outfielder Kennet Sorenson of Smoke Rise, Georgia; infielder John Seanda of Des Moines, Iowa; catcher Keegan Watson of Fountaintown, Indiana; and walk-on pitcher Ben Probst of Urbandale, Iowa.
