The Huskers have picked up three verbal commitments the past three days — including a double dip on Thursday — and added six total players the past 10 days when transfers Breon Dixon (Ole Miss) and Noah Vedral (Central Florida) are factored in.
“I think it’ll just be a working weekend,” Huskers247.com recruiting analyst Mike Schaefer said. “It’s a good opportunity for guys that are committed. They can stop by and see a C.J. Smith (West Palm Beach, Florida) today or other guys in that regard if they haven’t seen them yet this week.”
Defensively, the Huskers are still looking for help in the secondary.
