Groenewegen finished with five RBIs, including a two-out, walk-off single down the right-field line to lift the No. 24 Golden Gopher softball team to an 11-10 win against Nebraska in Minneapolis.
Groenewegen's hit also sealed the series win for Minnesota (32-12, 12-3 Big Ten). The third game is set for 11 a.m. Sunday. Nebraska dropped to 28-16 overall and 9-7 in league play.
The teams combined for 15 extra-base hits — seven home runs, six doubles and two triples.
The Huskers jumped to a 5-2 lead, then trailed 10-5 before scoring two runs in the sixth inning and three more in the top of the seventh.
