The transfer rules in college volleyball — most of the time players get to play right away without sitting out a year — appears like it will be very good for the Nebraska volleyball team once again.
The Huskers have added a past No. 1 national recruit in transfer outside hitter Lexi Sun, and she’ll be able to play during the 2018 season, Nebraska coach John Cook announced Tuesday.
Sun played at Texas last season, where the 6-foot-2 outside hitter was second on the team in kills with 337. She was a first-team All-Big 12 selection.
"After visiting Nebraska for the first time, I found that overall the program is the best fit for me when taking into consideration what the entire program has to offer," Sun said in a news release.
