You've perhaps heard Nebraska President Hank Bounds and UNL Chancellor Ronnie Green talk about the need for Husker athletics to raise on-field competitiveness.
That theme is reflected in new athletic director Bill Moos' contract, a five-year deal with an annual base salary of $1 million, plus incentives.
If Moos were to achieve all the incentives in a given school year, it could add up to $500,000 to his deal, Bounds told the Journal Star.
Bounds said Moos would receive $100,000 if the Nebraska football team wins a Big Ten Championship and an additional $150,000 if the Huskers capture the national title in the sport.
