Nebrasketball: Solid Defense leads Huskers to 66-57 win over Hoosiers

A bounce back game to regain enery and hope was badly needed for Nebraska after coming off a heartbreaking loss against Illinois,

The Huskers started out just the way they wanted, a James Palmer Jr. three. But that would be one of the few threes that Nebraska made in the first half, as they finished 3-15 from three point land.

After Palmer’s three, the classic Nebraska scoring drought would ensue, with none other than JPJ ending the three minute drought at around the 16 minute mark.

Droughts that the Huskers have on offense need to stop if they want to make noise in the Big Ten tournament and possibly the NCAA tournament.
