Nebraska freshman guard Samari Curtis has left the Nebraska basketball team. He has seen little playing time this season and my guess is that little would change in that regard.
From coach Fred Hoiberg:
“Samari has informed me that he has decided to transfer,” Hoiberg said. “I have enjoyed coaching him, and we will support him as he finishes the fall semester and begins looking at other schools. We wish Samari the best in the future.”
Curtis was a 6’4” guard from Xenia, OH. A one time commit to the University of Cincinnati he decided to come to Nebraska last summer.
