Redshirt freshman Jace Piatkowski is back for another season after redshirting and working extensively on the scout team in practices last season for the Huskers. The 6-foot-3 guard weighs in at 184-pounds, and is originally from California. He moved to Nebraska after his father retired from the NBA after 14 seasons (Husker fans are obviously familiar with Eric Piatkowski whose No. 52 jersey was retired by Nebraska along with being inducted into the Nebraska Basketball Hall of Fame in 2006).
After moving back to Nebraska, Piatkowski quickly became a star at Elkhorn South High School.
