The Butler Bulldogs, a team who went to the NCAA Tournament Finals two years in a row back in 2010 and 2011, has taken a bit of a downturn this season. While this is Lavall’s second year as head coach, he did manage to get Butler to the second round of the tournament last year before they were defeated by Big Ten brethren Purdue.
