The Nebraska Cornhuskers men’s basketball team may not have had a great record on the hardwood this past season, but in the classroom one player earned Academic All-American honors. Kobe Webster was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-America® team, earning third-team honors.
Webster was one of two Big Ten players this year to earn the honor and is the first Husker to do so since Shavon Shields earned back-to-back honors in 2015 and 2016. Webster is just the second Husker hoops player to earn Academic All-American honors this century, the most recent prior to Shields being in 1991.
