Huskers started out strong but didn't have enough to finish against a talented Cincinnati team
Nebraska came out strong in the Barclays Classic and played well against #24 Cincinnati but in the end the Bearcats won the day. The undersized Huskers played gritty against the talented team from Ohio but in the end, couldn't pull off the upset.
Shavon Shields got into foul trouble early in the game and was absent for majority of the first half. He came out and played on fire in the second, making you think what the final score might have been if he was a major factor in the first.
