Nebraska Wrestling: Lovett and Hardy Win Big Ten Titles; Huskers Finish 2nd in Team Race

From the start of the Big Ten Championships, Nebraska was the clear next-best team behind #1 Penn State, setting the Huskers up well for the upcoming NCAA Championships.

Nebraska finished second in the team race with 137 points — well behind the Nittany Lions and their 181.5 points. The Huskers finished comfortably ahead of Iowa who finished third with 112 points. Minnesota placed fourth with 108.5, and Illinois took fifth with 105.5.

For the first time in program history, Nebraska had two wrestlers win Big Ten Championships with both Brock Hardy and Ridge Lovett taking home titles — it was Lovett's second conference title (he’s a three-time finalist) and Hardy's first (he’s a two-time finalist).
