On Saturday afternoon, the Nebraska women’s tennis team (6-1) beat South Dakota (3-3) handily at the Dillon Tennis Center. Each singles match counts for one point, and the winner of two of the three doubles matches counts for one point. The goal is to win the tie by gaining four points, and once a team reaches four points, the rest of the singles matches will be stopped.

Nebraska started the doubles with real momentum, taking the all-important doubles point with victories from #2 couple Lucy Loy/Maria Taranov and #3 couple Yuzu Miyoshi/Natalia Trigosso. They now have a 1-0 lead heading into the singles matches.
