A heavy weight was lifted off the shoulders of the Nebraska baseball team today as despite a major self-inflicted wound and an offense that pulled a couple of disappearing acts, they persevered and came up big when they needed it most in the final inning of the game. This was a feel-good moment for the team, and for the first time in Big Ten play this season, they have a chance to win a series on Sunday.
It’s Saturday so that means Ty Horn, the Kansas Flash, was on the mound. Horn has been consistent, going at least four innings in all of his starts this season.
