Amy Williams was introduced as Nebraska women's basketball coach Tuesday at the Hendricks Training Center.
"Today is a great day to be a Husker as we welcome home one of our own," NU athletic director Shawn Eichorst said.
Williams, who played at Nebraska from 1994-98, was introduced one week after Connie Yori resigned following a two-month investigation into player mistreatment.
Williams called her reunion with the program a "dream come true."
"We're going to compete for championships," Williams said. "We are going to do it the right way and most importantly we are going to do it together.
