In a game of runs, Nebraska held on to the momentum longer. It wasn’t always pretty, but in the Big Ten most games are not pretty. Cleaning up turnovers and making more wide open shots are going to be what Nebraska focuses on going forward.
First Quarter
Right off the bat, Nebraska opens up the scoring as Britt Prince drills a three. Nebraska is clearly wanting to go fast pace here and getting looks, shots have all been good shots so far. I would like to see them get down hill a bit more. Alexis Markowski has her second block of the game, Callin Hake corralled the rebound and had a wide open lane, missed the shot but will get free throws and makes both (5-0 NEB).
