This one belonged to the Hoosiers from the start. They started strong and only got stronger as the game went along.
First Quarter
Turnovers marked the first possession for each team - that along with missed shots. Alexis Markowski powered the Huskers to points and score was 4-3 Neb at 7:00. The Hoosiers went on a six point run before Markowski again found the basket (9-6 Ind). After trading baskets, Indiana went on another run to take a seven point lead (19-12 Ind) with 90 seconds left in the quarter.
The Hoosiers extended their lead to eight before a buzzer beating three by Markowski closed the gap to five.
