If you only watched the first quarter, you might have given up on Nebraska and starting checking out the Chopped reruns.
You would have regretted that.
The Huskers overcame a slow start to roar back and beat a ranked team known for defensive pressure and forcing turnovers. But, every time it looked like Nebraska was going to put Sparty away, MSU fought back and made it a game.
First Quarter
Jess Petrie drew the start tonight along with Alexis Markowski, Logan Nissley, Britt Prince, and Callin Hake.
It took almost two minutes for either team to score and the Spartans made things uncomfortable for Husker fans early (10-0 MSU).
