I expected this to be a low scoring game and it sure seems to be. At the 6:01 mark Rutgers held a 5-4 lead. Nebraska took their first lead at 6-5 behind a Bella Cravens layup but then the Huskers gave up two quick layups. Rutgers also forced a shot clock violation on Nebraska - I’m sure it won’t be the last one of the game. The score was 9-6 at the media timeout with Cravens pacing the Huskers with four points and Sam Haiby with the other two.
Seven Huskers have already seen the floor and Rutgers, as expected, has really turned the screws to the Huskers in the full court press.
