If the Nebraska volleyball team is going to meet its high expectations for the season — a fourth straight trip to the NCAA Final Four is the goal, players say — one area that will go a long way to that happening is how the Huskers progress in the serve receive part of the game.
That was one of the areas where Nebraska took a big hit from last season, with the graduation of a couple of great passers in Annika Albrecht and Sydney Townsend.
Nebraska is still working to get its serve receive game to the level of last season, which is understandable with young players such as Lexi Sun and Hayley Densberger now having a major role in passing.
