Nebraska volleyball program's sellout streak set to reach another milestone

The Nebraska volleyball program will reach another milestone on Friday, when the program's decade-long regular season sellout streak reaches 250 matches for its match against Penn State.

Nebraska has sold out every regular-season match since midway through 2001, which was coach John Cook’s second year as Nebraska head coach.

Cook was worried it would be tough to keep the streak going when the Huskers moved from the 4,000-seat NU Coliseum to the 7,907-seat Devaney Sports Center in 2013, but that hasn’t been an issue. Even this season for matches that were on TV, and against unranked opponents, fans have been outside the arena one hour before the match trying to buy tickets.
