Nebraska’s team effort led to a decisive win over a very good Kentucky team in four sets. 11 of Nebraska’s 14 players stepped on the court and contributed to the win by earning points. Kennedy Orr stepped on the court during set three and took the team on a seven point scoring run. Laney Choboy made two defensive saves in set three that left no question that the set was going to the Huskers at 17-8.
A few points later Merritt Beason turned to Andi Jackson in the huddle after a Beason kill and said “that was you”.
