As Nebraska takes to the Terry Pettit Court in the Devaney Center on Saturday, they will have specific and team internal goals in mind and will work to keep those in focus as the match progresses. At the Minnesota postgame conversation Coach Cook said any win in the Big Ten was a good win. The win against Minnesota was deemed “ugly” by Coach Cook as well as Andi Jackson, but that doesn’t mean they didn’t immediately start trying to improve on the ugly.
Coach Cook wanted to specifically improve two aspects of the game that he saw lacking against the Gophers; winning long rallies and setting out of system balls (those passes that are either off of the net or set by someone other than the setter).
