When it comes to Nebraska volleyball, fans expect their team to get a high seed and host a few games when tournament season rolls around. That is the case once again, as the Huskers are the seventh seed this year.
Their first game will take place on Friday at 7 PM (central time) against Hofstra (25-7 overall, 13-3 CAA), who Nebraska should be able to take care of business against. Assuming Nebraska does indeed win that match, they’ll then face off against either Arizona (22-10 overall, 11-9 Pac 12) or Missouri (23-7 overall, 13-5 SEC).
Mizzou could be a tough second-round opponent for the Huskers, but Mizzou does benefit from playing against an easier SEC schedule.
