The Nebraska volleyball team didn’t start off the season the way they hoped. On Friday night, the team was manhandled in a rematch of last year’s National Championship match.
While the Cornhuskers were able to topple Florida last year, they couldn’t do the same yesterday. The Gators ended up winning three sets to one.
On Saturday evening, the Huskers got into the win column for the first time in the 2018 season. They did it by sweeping the 18th ranked Oregon Ducks in straight sets.
No, they didn’t blow the Ducks away, but any time you can take out a Top 25 opponent without allowing them a set, you’re definitely doing something right.
