Nebraska traveled to Penn State and lost their first conference match of the season. This was high level volleyball. Both teams prepared well and disrupted what the other wanted to do. Nebraska distrupted the outside hitters for PSU holding Jess Mruzik and Camryn Hannah to a combined .135 hitting percentage.
PSU distrupted Nebraska by pressing the serve receive passing and forcing a great deal of passes off of the net which led to a predictable and blockable offense from Nebraska.
What Nebraska did not expect was a Caroline Jurevicius that could produce 18 kills and hit .
