When he came to Nebraska, Fidone was the most sought after tight end recruit in the country. Then he suffered a serious ACL injury. Then another.
He managed to make his way back into a starter some how after two years of not playing football, I say “some how” here because... that’s a helluva lot more guts and determination than most people would have after going through not one, but two terrible knee injuries.
