Nebraska has made a change to their 2021 football schedule. They have removed Southeastern Louisiana from the schedule and replaced them with Fordham.
The Southeastern Louisiana game was scheduled at home on November 13. Athletic Director Bill Moos has been trying to get an earlier home game scheduled. He’s now done that as the Fordham game will be played on September 4th.
“We have been actively exploring opportunities to play a home game on Sept. 4 since our Ireland trip to play Illinois was canceled,” Nebraska Athletic Director Bill Moos said. “It was important for several reasons to add a September home game.
