Nebraska Suspends Michael Rose-Ivey, Jonathan Rose and Cethan Carter for BYU Game

Three weeks ago, the Portland Tribune broke the news that five Huskers were going to be suspended for the BYU game. We now know the names:

Rose-Ivey has been rumored to be suspended previously, as he was listed atop the depth chart but didn't receive a Blackshirt this week. At that time, defensive coordinator Mark Banker said that Blackshirts had to be won off the field as well as on the field. He'll be replaced by redshirt freshman Luke Gifford this weekend. Jonathan Rose has been splitting time with Josh Kalu at cornerback; Kalu received a Blackshirt but Rose did not.
