University of Nebraska student-athletes excelled in the classroom during the 2022 spring semester. Following the spring, the cumulative grade-point average of all Husker student-athletes was 3.338, the second-highest mark since the calculations were first recorded in 1992-93.
Five programs posted their highest spring semester cumulative GPA in their sport's history. The women's cross country team led the way with a 3.716 grade-point average, followed closely by the women's track and field team with a 3.634 GPA. The men's cross country team posted its highest cumulative grade-point average with a 3.564, while softball had a 3.595 GPA and men's tennis posted a mark of 3.
