Lincoln, Nebraska - The Nebraska softball team split a doubleheader against Colorado State in the first two games of the Big Red Fall Classic on Saturday. The Huskers won the first game by a score of 8-6, before dropping the second game in extra innings, 4-3.
Pitchers Olivia Ferrell, Courtney Wallace and Karlee Seevers all saw time in the circle.
Game 1: Nebraska - 8, Colorado State - 6
In the bottom of the first, Nebraska took a quick 2-0 lead over the Rams. Cam Ybarra and Peyton Glatter found their way home for the Huskers.
