The Nebraska track and field team will get a final tuneup in before next week's Big Ten Indoor Championships in Geneva, Ohio.
The Huskers will host the Nebraska Tune-up beginning at noon Friday at the Devaney Sports Center. The meet will include Iowa State, Nebraska-Omaha, South Dakota, Missouri-Kansas City and some state colleges.
Eight Huskers are ranked in the top 16 nationally in their respective events. Indoor competitors need to rank in the top 16 to earn a spot in the NCAA championships.
Among the team leaders is Petra Luteran, who ranks fifth nationally in the high jump (6 feet, ¾ inches).
