The Nebraska recruiting train might be heading down the tracks at high speeds, but that doesn’t mean it’s not going to hit a bump every now and then. One particular bump came along earlier this week when one of Nebraska football’s top offensive line targets committed to the Tennessee Volunteers.
Chris Akporoghene was one of those offensive tackles that would have put one heck of a cherry on the 2019 recruiting class had he become a Cornhusker. Akporoghene had named the Huskers among his final five teams.
The offensive tackle from Florida also had the Volunteers on his list.
