Fearless Leader Scott Frost and his Superlative Staff added another heavy dose of #speed to the mix today with a hard-hitting safety recruit out of Texas.
Cam’ron Jones, a 6’0” 200lb speedster, with a downhill style that works well against the run. His speed and hard-hitting style reminded me of Nate Gerry, although I have seen no pictures of his biceps to confirm. Jones’ confirmed 4.5 40 time added significant speed to the Husker defensive backfield. A former UCLA commit, he had the offer list you would expect of a four star recruit. The main competitors for his commitment were Texas Tech, Baylor and Ole Miss.
