The Nebraska baseball team came from behind to pick up a 8-5 midweek win over the Nebraska-Omaha Mavericks. The Huskers overcame wild pitching on the night as they allowed eight walks and a hit batter.
Omaha jumped out to an early lead against Kyle Perry in the first inning. Perry would only last two thirds of an inning. He walked four batters, hit another, and gave up a hit en route to Omaha jumping out to a 3-0 lead.
The Huskers would score the next four runs to take the lead. Nebraska got one in the second inning and three in the third.
