Nebraska overcomes slow start to blow past Northwestern

Anton Gill's four-point play with just under eight minutes left sparked an overwhelming game-ending surge, and the Nebraska men's basketball team turned a tight, ugly game into a blowout in a 70-55 road victory Tuesday night.

The Huskers (11-5, 2-1 Big Ten) shot 59 percent in the second half after an ugly first 20 minutes saw Northwestern go into the locker room with a 30-25 lead.
