We all know how last season went. The best record for Nebraska under Fred Hoiberg. The second team this century to make an appearance in the NCAA Tournament. An 8 seed going against the worst shooting team and best offensive rebounding team in the country. A 9 seed in Texas A&M, where former Nebraska AD Trev Alberts made his move to right before the tournament started in controversial fashion. This team had an opportunity to FINALLY break the curse of never winning an NCAA Tournament game. Then it went away, as Texas A&M went on to win 98-83, and the wait painstakingly remains.
