The Nebraska men’s and women’s tennis programs have been quietly putting together a solid Spring season, with both cracking the top 40 in the national rankings. The women’s team is now ranked #36, and the men’s team is #40. To make it into the NCAA team tournament, you must be in the top 40 to be safe, so both teams are right on the bubble.
The Husker men’s team is 6-3, with notable wins over Ole Miss and Oklahoma State. The season only gets more challenging as the Big Ten matches kick off. With the addition of the West Coast schools, the conference is one of the strongest in the nation.
